KLINGER Quantum is the first fiber reinforced gasket material in the world that is exclusively HNBR-bound. Together with a unique production process developed specially for the purpose, this material can be used at higher temperatures and with a much wider range of media than any other fiber reinforced gasket material that is currently available.

KLINGER Quantum gasket material has been tested to and meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 10497 / API 607, Fifth Edition Fire Safe Test. This material (unprinted) also complies with FDA food requirements.

APPLICATION
Unique gasket material with the highest flexibility at high temperatures, manufactured from a high-quality fiber and filler compound. A high temperature-resistant HNBR matrix is used as the binding agent. Suitable for use in oils, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants and in food applications* such as in direct contact with aqueous or fatty acids and alcoholic foods during processing, production, packing, storage, transportation, and preparation at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C).

*(for FDA requirements, material will be supplied unbranded)
