Sealex joint sealant was used to seal a leaking compound chiller at a university in southern Florida. The university’s central energy plant was experiencing leaks caused by a number factors. Sealex replaced a large dove-tailed, 1/8” thick full-faced 60 durometer neoprene gasket.
Sealex joint sealant is 100% pure expanded PTFE on a roll that is soft and highly compressible. The adhesive backing makes installation easy; especially on large flanges.
